valet

Yeah so i was leaving the hospital and the valet was bringing over my truck when i hear a loud pop sound. thought he knocked over a sign. he gets out and then after a couple of seconds hops back in and brings it over. When i looked it over i noticed he broke the driverside rear wheel centercap right off. that doesnt kill me but the chipped chrome on the weld wheel right at the former centercap did. My grandmas in the hospital not doing so well so it really isnt bothering me but thought id share and remmeber, tell the valets to swing these big trucks wide...
I got the insurance info and will have that to take care of soon
needles to say i stuck the two dollar tip back in my pocket...

It's gonna be about a grand when you get a dealer price for a new one. Make sure you get a new one.

car... yeah i know . the wheel was like 700 or so and prob 40 for the centercap. the thing is i think it was my one wheel that hasnt had a chrome issue yet... i have 2 that are chipping and have to get warrantied out. my local shop was supposed to get the new one in awhile ago but i never got a call. guess ill find out tomorrow....

h2...We thankfully have some of the best hospitals in the world here in pittsburgh... though parking is at a premium for our large tall dodges and valet is the only way to get it parked without looking around for an hour.

Hand over the keys to my truck to an 18 year old who probably either drives an Econo-Coffin or rode the bus to work?
Not a snowball's chance in Hades.
If I can't drive it, it don't get parked.
I've told them before, "Tell me where you want it, and the spot better be wide".
Haven't had a problem yet.

Even the guys at Dodge don't know how to handle the six speed. I take it in for service and the guy brings it down the delivery lane in first gear at 2200 rpms. Duh. Oh well, it is fun to watch their face trying to read the upside down gear layout on the shift ****. Weird - - 1 revolution every 10,000 miles.
