Wow. That would bring back memories. My buddy Jeff and I took the first tour of the day back in '99 at Golden. We stayed in the gift shop after our three samples and snuck back in with the next two groups and went to different bar tenders at the sampler bar. We sat in the truck for two hours until I could sober up a little to drive back to Denver. We were young and stupid then, now I'd just take driver with me!

Another quicky, I was up in Indiana for a wedding this last summer and we went into a liquor store up there. I asked the lady if she carried Extra Gold she said yes. I asked her how much she had. She told me she had six thirty packs. I told her "ring 'em up"..."where are they"? We bought them out of Extra Gold and Original......Yankees!!

Maybe do what the corona drinkers do to get rid of the skunky taste of their beer and add some lime too it. Help cover up that oxidized taste of the hops. Us home brewers have an edge on you store bought beer drinkers. Our beer is cared for better.

A word of advice on buying beer when you do not drink much but may store it. Buy it in brown bottles and keep it some where dark and cool. Light will cause the hops to oxidize and turn the beer into a nasty, skunky tasting beer.

P.S. And our beer tastes better too.
