I did that yesterday, pulling my bobcat and power rake. Sitting at a stop sign, waiting for a break in traffic, built up maybe 2 psi boost without thinking about it, and when I went she broke both back tires loose but made more of a roar than a gobble. I had to let off then punch it again, didn't mean to do that, must be hard on my rear axle. The guys in the work van behind me were staring big time though, when I looked back. Left two 5 foot black marks.

I've tried to make a pun on numerous occasions, but I don't know what "turkey gobble" even refers to...

I'm a failure, I know it...

Well, I can't come up with anything that fits in the site rules, hows that?

The whole "no profanity/ vulgarity/ obscenity" provision really hampers my wit, you know?

I thought this thread was going to be a crack at Beagle1s avatar. (Still might go there anyway) Did it sound like a fire farting turkey?

but I don't know what "turkey gobble" even refers to...

this is when the turbo is in its "prime" and all of a sudden it falls on its face. An example is if you are spinning your tires and the turbo is working and then the tires get traction (or you aren't fast enough when you shift gears to keep them spinning) and the turbo winds down too fast...gobble.

Is that the same as a turbo "bark"? I thought you were talking about the tires gobbling (chirping) when you shifted. Shows how much I know.
