I thought at first it was a picture ran though like a painting filter in Photoshop or something... it sure does look real!

[QUOTE=Rednecktastic;1715153]Yeah, I'll have to dig them off my work computer I think... I wish I took the hitch off it when I took the pics . I had a real good place on the beach that I took some pics of my 04 dodge at and they shut it off...

Ya know, that's the fun part about drawing, I can take the hitch off

It's no fun when they close off nice areas. That's awesome that you have it on the beach, though!

I only did some color adjusting to bring it a little closer to the original after it was scanned in I love when people don't believe it's a drawing! Speaking of...here's the original, so ya'll can compare:

Haha, that error happened a couple of times to me, rather annoying!

Good thing you're not in Orange County, California - you'd never get near the beach unless you had Park Ranger written all over it. I managed to find a couple places down in San Diego, but my stock Ranger at the time wouldn't have made it through the sand.

Yeah, I saw you had a pretty good stack of fans at another site, but I was sad because all my pics were over here & I didn't feel like uploading everything again. Started looking around over here and there you were!!

Awesome work! I thought it was a photoshopped pic as well.
Wish I had a talent

I'm actually surprised so many people like this, especially over on the Cummins Forum! My coworkers think it's a rather odd thing to want to draw, but they really are a lot of fun to draw. Glad you found me over here (good thing I kept my handle the same...and the thread names!). You're #9 right now, and I'm about half-way through with the first truck-yeehaw!

Heck, if you can drive without crashing, that's a bloody good talent (one I unfortunately don't possess...whoops...then again, I think the Mercedes deserved it )

Completed!

Just so ya'll know I'm not slackin' Made a "custom" roll pan and bumper since the originals were cut off a bit. I also parked the truck on a hill...cuz it seemed like a nifty thing to do! I'm not trying to do any emphasis on backgrounds, since this is truck "portraiture"!

This took 2.5 hours with marker and multiliner pen.

And this was the original:
