Tragic
I posted this over on the gun forum too but knew that it might get more exposure over here for now.
You have to wonder how many more gun show shootings and accidents will occur before they try to legislate our "safety".
WESTFIELD, Mass. — An 8-year-old boy died after accidentally shooting himself in the head while firing an Uzi submachine gun under adult supervision at a gun fair.

Happened next town over from me. It was truly an unfortunate accident. One of my friends was up there with his ma deuce, he was assigned to a different group though.

I'm sorry, but I have a hard enough time controlling my buddies Uzi.
No way in heck I would let a kid pull the trigger except with 1 round in the mag.
If they want to let them shoot, shoot a tripod mounted MG.

Thats terrible. And its just one more thing for the anti-gun guys to feed on. People have got to use their heads. How dumb can you be to let an 8 year old shoot a gun like that? If he was gonna shoot it, his dad shouldve at least been behind him helping him hold the gun

I agree. They usually do have something mounted that they can fire, so I have no idea why he was firing that weapon at all.
