Toyota

Just saw an ad on TV for the new Toyota Tritan. They showed it pulling a trailer and passing a Dodge on an uphill grade.
The Dodge must have been a six cylinder gasser.

A Cummins puts out more torque than that with the motor shut off, doesn't it?

I have never seen dodge do that in their truck commercials...none of that "it is better than yours" crap. Even the Hemi commercials are all mopar. Now that I think about it, I have never seen a HD cummins truck commercial ???.

Who needs to pay for advertising. Everyone knows that the Dodge CTD is the best HD Pickup.

Thinking about it, I don't recall seeing ANY advertising of the CTD, at least not recently. Dodge is flogging the Hemi four ways from Sunday, and I've seen plenty of PowerStroke and DuraMax ads, but nada about the Cummins. Word of mouth must be working pretty good for Dodge!

I have seen an add for the Cummins in quite a few farm magazines, but that is the only place I have seen one.

It's kinda like Harley Davidson.

Has anyone ever seen a TV commercial for a Harley?
I've seen the occasional magazine ad, but never on TV.

We have run local Harley dealer spots,
but they only feature the accessories (jackets, pins, hats, etc) not the bikes.

Harleys and Cummins sell themselves and they know it, so why spend money on a commercial when you can put that money in your pocket.

Cummins owns Harley Davidson

Been quite a few Cadillac adds lately too. They are not owned by Cummins though.
