I guess I'll have to admit to being the cheapest person I know. When it comes to spending money, I'm tighter than a bulls butt in fly season .
A lot of it comes from being in the service during the Clinton era when we couldn't even afford to get the ship underway let alone buy parts and tools to do our jobs. We had to get pretty inventive at times. Almost as bad as going thru the great depression .

I won't buy it if I can borrow or scrounge it (unless it is a real cool power tool).

I save my empty milk cartons to start my plants in ... why pay the .29 cents for a plastic cup with holes in it ?

I will walk quite a ways to find an ATM that isn't gonna charge me for getting MY money.

I don't think twice about picking up pennies ... only takes 50 of em to buy a Pepsi !!!

I don't mind wearing second hand clothes (except Scotty's thongs ... )
