Hey now, Lord Vader, I straight up told my wife that her friend was a hottie! 
But during the winter storm this past Saturday, I went with my wife to pick her up and bring her over my house, since the roads were terrible and she had no way of leaving.
Then my buddy and I left and went out on his sled...
Thr worst was getting the call around midnight to bring her home, in my truck, solo - my wife trusts me, and I wouldn't ever do anything like that, but I brought my buddy just in case.

Sometimes it is the better part of valor not to reveal your inner most thoughts because it can come back to haunt you 25 years from now
You and I might appreciate brutal honesty in a discussion, but she is wired a little different and something like that can fester a long time and bother her deeply.
You will likely never know it until it blindsides you out of no where in another conversation completely unrelated but probably about something else you did wrong

However If there is one thing you will learn about women in your lifetime, it is the fact that they forget NOTHING you ever say
Sometimes it is the better part of valor not to reveal your inner most thoughts because it can come back to haunt you 25 years from now
You and I might appreciate brutal honesty in a discussion, but she is wired a little different and something like that can fester a long time and bother her deeply.

Like Rodney Carrington says, women have that Roladex, and when you edit them off that baby starts spinning to any memory of thier liking. My wife and I have had the talk SEVERAL time about how women are just wired differant.

Simply OPENING this thread is enough to get a married man in trouble...and now I've gone and done the REALLY stupid thing by posting in it (meaning I can no longer deny that I opened it or gave thought to the idea that my wife might have a pretty friend).

I couldn't agree more with Top. When the things you said or did twenty some odd years ago come back to bite you in the backside ... all you can do is scratch your head and wonder what the heck just happened . Trust me on that one .... sheesh !!

My buddy had this problem and he was thinking of messin around with the other girl so i said how would you feal if it were her messin around on you he was dumb enuff to say oh thats difrent coulda punched him. it goes back to the good book do unto others. If you wouldnt want her doing it you shouldnt do it. Most of you boys seem to be pretty honest with your wifes thats awsome need more people like that these days
