Thoughts on Norway's handling of the Trial

What do you think about the "Norwegian Way" of how the court case is being handled ?

I find it perplexing that their society is so.... hard to describe correctly....polite. I realize that internally I'm sure they must loathe this thing that did these horrific acts to promote his agenda, but to treat him they way they are just doesn't make any sense to me... or to him, by the quotes in the article... Even he thinks that they have a law that limits one's incarceration to 21 years is asinine.

I'm dumbfounded by the way this is being handled.... with utter calmness and respect where none is truly deserved.... but I guess that's just me.

Personally, physical severe torture for about a decade or so, followed by a public draw and quartering, followed by a public display of the body would still not bring back those lost....... but at least I would feel better knowing that he paid an incredible price for the pain he caused, and the innocence he took away.
