Well here in Clark County we have a skills center that you can attend durring the the first few hours of school. They have many programs and one happens to be diesel mechanics. So being the diesel nut I am I filled out an application and today I just learned that i was accepted for next years program. There I will learn how to work on various diesels, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, ect. I already have good mechanical knowledge ( I can even TIG weld) so im hoping I will do well there. I am hoping to become a diesel tech when I get out of school so wish me luck!

Good choice in careers. I've been in diesel repair for over 30 years and self employed for about 20. It's been a good career for me. You can make better money in diesel than in automotive.

Thanks for all the support!!!
They also have an automotive class which looked extremely boring, just not advanced enough for me. So since I love diesel power I chose the diesel program and I think I will get a much bigger challenge from it.
