Tim, all good suggestions but I'll give you 3 more. Make sure of where you park. The fines and towing for parking illegally will leave a serious sting in your wallet. Second, keep your head on a swivel. Traffic, bicycles and bad guys are everywhere. Third, Seattle PD doesn't have the best reputation either.
