Any Seattle area guys that work on pumps.

I want to know if there is any one that may be in the Seattle area that would help guide me through the pump work on my 1993 1 ton. I would pay for your time I just want to make sure I do not screw things up. THe truck is bone stock. Plans are for exhaust, turbo housing and injectors. If you know a shop local let me know also I will give them a call. I am looking forward to doing some of these things this is my first oil burning rig.

There are quite a group of Dodge Truck Owners in the Pacific North West. Check them out, I am sure some of them would be happy to help you.

In the later part of September, Piers Diesel Research will be having an open house where quite a number of diesel truck owners will get together from B.C., Wash., Oregon, etc. That is a good opportunity to get to meet them and obtain a lot of good information.

If you really want help, Call Evan Beck, (360) 825-9400. He is in Seattle, Washington, and knows what's going on with Light Duty Diesel Trucks.

Hope this helps,

Are you trying to turn the pump up for power? Or are you in need of pump repair?

I plan on getting the following right away.
#1 Full exhaust system.
#2 16cm turbo housing.
#3 EGT and boost gauge set.
#4 Fuel injectors.
#5 pump mods.

The tranny has just been rebuilt I may add some kind of kit parts to it. THe truck is a 1993 350 4x4 extended cab.

Unless you are planning on getting pretty radical with your pump, you can do most of the basic mods yourself. There are some really good instructions available online and it is suprisingly simple. This comes from someone that just did it this past weekend. ;D It only takes minimal mechanical skill and a little patience and care to make sure everything gets put back together right. Right down what you do and make reference marks. Worst case, you can go back to where you started. A little trial and error and you will get it where you want it.

Like Carl said.

I just did mine and need a bit of info to fine tune it but it's a snap it you take your time and follow the directions. Read em over think about what they are saying and it's pretty straight forward. I read about he little things that drove a few nuts but the suggestions for getting around the problems worked like a charm. The one in particular is the adj of the idle. Tapped that sucker with a chisle and she broke free nice as ya please. That could have been a P.I.T.A
