Texas Swing

Weather swing, that is.

Saturday I was putting up Christmas lights in shorts and a t-shirt with a record setting high of 88 degrees. The very next day, Sunday, the high was 46 degrees. Now it's 26 degrees.

Burrrrrrrr.....

Bottom line....get the winter clothes out but keep the summer clothes handy.

Typical winter weather for Texas. Twenties for a low one day - eighties for the high the next. Makes it tough to plan, but those eighty-degree days are great for motorcycle riding!!

Or, if you're one of the few people who know who Ty England is...

"If I had a swing like that,
Anytime, day or night, you know where I'd be at.
Sashaying, swaying back and forth,
Man I'd never leave that porch
If I had a swing like that."

Yep, as Waylon said, "It don't matter who's down in Austin, Bob Wills is still the King!"

It swings down here too. At daybreak it was a very chilly 42 degrees and by 2 P.M. it was 92. Sun is setting and it is presently 70 degrees. Just came in from watering the plants and lawn. Oh, almost forgot. Did the watering in flip flops and shorts.
