When I moved from Mich to here, I had my real estate agent go thru their network and got an agent in the area I was looking in and they bent over backwards to help us. It's the referal that gets their attention. Good luck

When Hoss and Byron came down from Washington this past fall, I was laughing at them standing in the shade nearly all day long. Those boys were the definition of "white"

The summers can take a bit of gettin' used to, but the rest of the year is like..well, summer. LOL!

It would be nice to add you to the list of Texans

Now, lets work together to keep Scotty out of here and everything will be A-OK.

Go to HAR.com and search the zip code that you want to move to. If you don't have the zip code, you can go to the postal service web site and search for zip codes by county. Hope this helps with your search.

BEWARE: You stay in Texas very long, you will never leave.

Let me know when you want to know where to hunt. (Not talking about Cats)

Kyle -

First, my condolences. I was stationed there - well, DFW - for 2 years. And moved there from WA state, too. It pretty much sucked.

I still have my house there for sale but have a really good agent. I'll see if he has any contacts in the Kileen area. If not, do you use USAA? They have a relocation service that I've used a couple of times with good success.

I'll let you know what he says, but I probably won't hear from him until Monday unless we get an offer over the weekend.

Hey TTHA33 I am moving to the Houston area and love to hunt I have a boat and if you take me hunting I will take you fishing. My wifes work will be in the 12000 block of northwest freeway. Do you have any suggestions as to where to look for me?

Thanks! Usta

From Florence about 30 min south of Killeen. Small town and pretty quiet if that is what you are looking for. Killeen is a different story. With Austin so close you should be in business as Texas is a major CTD state. Should have joined the Army instead of USMC so I could stay closer to home. Oh well, OORAH!!!!. Good luck and when you get your shop open make sure you let me know and I will swing by when I get home on leave. Dont listen to anyone that says Texas sucks because it doesnt. Get to know the people out in town and sooner or later it will grow on you so much that you wont want to leave. Just be prepared, we are a proud state so dont take offense, thats just how we are. Look at my signature, and I havnt lived there in 6 years. Have fun, I know you will.

I am stoked on the housing market Man for what you pay here there is no comparison. We are looking in the 200-250k and that buys you a sweet house in texas here in washington anymore that is a cookie cutter spec house price I am all Don I love the heat I lived in California in the bay area for a while it was nice. The weather here in the NW has been pretty nice this year but standard is overcast and rainy. As for business you midwest guys rock most of all my business is east of Idaho alot in Texas If it goes down it will be fun. Thanks for everyones input
