I've found that technology enhances what abilities you already have. Those who like to learn will learn more, while those who don't like to learn will ... learn less.
So if you are already partially an idiot, then technology might make you a complete idiot.

There is a guy in McCook who is like that. Always calling into open line with stories about the aluminum oxide that they are spreading with the airplanes and that's why they make the cont... wait, chemtrails, he'll believe just about any off-the-wall conspiracy theory that comes along, no matter what side of the aisle it comes from, as long as he read it on the internet, it has to be true.

I so badly wanted to call up on a really cold day after he made his call and say that the stuff must have been snuck into my fuel because my truck is leaving them too.

 

Just because he is paranoid....it doesn't mean they are not really after him
