Have you seen the new Durango? I hope someone lost their job over that "facelift", what were they thinking? The world does not need another minivan.

 

Yeah, I hate to say it, but I agree. Maybe Dodge hired an ex-GM design engineer . I liked the old Durangos, and considered getting one for the wife, but not now.-Steve

 

Personally, I can not stand the new Durango's. They look like an inflated Jeep Liberty with a different front end. The only possible redeeming feature is the HEMI. Hideous though.

 

They have actually grown on me. The lowered front nose will actually be good for all the soccer moms so they don't clip the front fenders when navigating through the shopping center parking lots.

 

Personally I think they look pretty sweet.

 

I have not yet seen one in person, but I think it would be sweet to get and awd version with a hemi and then put a supercharger on it. 500+ horsepower

I was swinging through the dealer lot yesterday, came around a bend and there was one sitting in front of me. I stopped, looked, and wondered what is that cool looking vehicle. Suddenly realized it was the new Durango. I think they have upgraded the looks dramatically. It still has a muscular look like our trucks, definitely not the glitzy Tahoe look. It needed bringing up to date. Didn't look inside, but I like the outside.

 

Looks too much like a minivan to me.

The 2nd gen durangos (or would that be 1st gen?) looked like they could actually go offroad, but I'd be wary of taking the new ones off the beaten path.

I personally don't like the new look. Looks way too much like a mini van with a truck front end stuck on it. Then again I didn't really like the older style durango either but it grew on me and I like it now.

For now the only thing the new durango has going for it is the HEMI!

 

I saw a picture of a black one that looked pretty good... but then I saw a real one that was red... it was pretty horrible looking!
