Bringing some Texan friends and their 4 & 2 year old daughters to NW PA (Girard, by Erie) for a week this August. We will be looking for things to do, within a few hours drive from Erie (2 hrs one way) to show them the area. Thinking about Niagara Falls, Kinzua Dam (Allegheny Nat'l Forest), OilCreek and Titusville Railroad and Presque Isle State Park (in Erie) as things to do. Anyone else in that neck of the woods got any other suggestions? Would love to camp, but with their youngun's and the fact that we are all flyin' we just don't have the room for gear.
