Re:Stop the insanity

Boy I am glad that common sence is slowly returning. Who held a gun (or some other life threatening device) to their head and made them eat it anyhow??????????????????

Re:Stop the insanity

Why am I not surprised when people do stuff like that. It's got so bad here that we had two individuals go down town and get lawyers to file a suit because they didn't get promoted. The fact that they had never been on active duty, other that their basic training, were dumber that dog s*** (poo-poo), and 200 points behind everyone else on their promotion points had absolutely nothing to do with it. One was so stupid that he replaced a couple of steel brake lines on a vehicle with copper, because the steel was too hard to work with. He is now a battalion motor sgt after getting promoted, AGAIN, twice in just over a year, after failing three COMET's (Command Maintenance Evaluations).
Just goes to show you, "Ignorance can be cured but stupid is forever."
And of course the boss wonders why I have a bit of an attitude. 350 days left, and counting, if this crap don't change. I have refused to drive ANY vehicle they've touched. I just don't want to be the unlucky individual that's gonna eventually get killed due to their stupidity.
Off the soap box.

shortround out

Hey Shortround, tell us what you think. It warms my heart to hear that stupidity runs rampant still. Do you feel that you're shouting into the wind or tilting at windmills? 350 days and counting? Sounds like we need to set you up with a shorttimers calendar. How about a CTD with various sections numbered off with number one position being the driver's seat?

On the other subject, the person's who should really be sued are the parents for allowing their children to be endangered by associating with Ronald. The children are too young to know any better. Obviously, we have parents who refuse to acknowledge that they might just share a big part of the problem. OK, poll time, raise your hand if you honestly think anything served at MickeyD's might actually be healthy for you? Rest my case. I know it's not all healthy but they sure taste good. Just have to be sure that they put everything in the bag that you ordered. Now, there's a basis for a lawsuit.

~Dave

Ok, I'll grant you that one and maybe some of the salads, IF you don't put anything on them.

Re:Stop the insanity

These stupid lawsuits are common because it can be cheaper for the company to settle out of court rather than hire the attorneys to ride out the lengthy legal process.

Nothing less than legal extortion, and we need to make a law that will jail any attorney for bringing such a frivolous law suit into our judicial system.

Thats the only way to stop this stuff because we have thousands of attorneys graduating every year, and looking for ways to exploit the system.

Dave you want an apple pie wit dat?

Dave,
Me speak my mind!!!!!?????? Never!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I tend to look at thinks in black and white instead of shades of grey. I prefer to call a spade a spade and not deal with this sensitivity/political correctness BS. 98% of these "basking in the light of their own self importance" have never been so scared that they pee and crap on themselves. They've never had to write letters to families saying that their loved one is dead. A long time ago I had to write 19 of those letters. Looking back, if there had been someone in the Saigon Power Palace that would have stopped and asked just one little question, I think a good number of those 19 would still be alive today.
Can't believe I'm getting this wound up this early. The peckerheads haven't even showed up yet.
Maybe I take my job and what I do too seriously.
I'm off the soap box now.

shortround out
