Thats a good idea! I was also thinking about investing in a good tarp/cover but I couldnt find one locally that would fit the full size q cab and cover the camper shell.

FWIW Bark.

In the winter we put decon in the tractor and swather cab. Dehydrates the mice so they don't stink. Haven't ever had much good luck with tarps. to much wind and they don't seem to be able to handle the direct sun.

My neighbor put a 5 gallon bucket (with lid on) under his with 4 - 1" holes drilled in it and put rat poison in it. nothing but mice could get in. I put one of those next to my pull camper. Although I added a couple of bricks to keep it in place.

That's darn good idea !! Slap a few up on the engine and a few inside the cab ... should be good for a few months at least, huh ??

Cheers,

That is a good idea for under the engine. Dad has some of the good stuff for squirrels out in the barn.

We had about a 7 foot bull snake around camp here in AZ for a few days, ya know there aint no rattlers around with that bad boy, so the neighbours dog got out in the dark and im chasing it around by sound as it has a bell on its neck, well im running along trying to catch this thing and I step on this big sprinkler hose, well I came down around 52 feet farther away than when I left, its funny now, and its amazing how far a 60 year old man can jump, have a good one.

LoL!! I stepped on a small sprinkler hose a couple of days after the snake incident. I was close enough to the end that it hissed. Made me jump even though I knew I had stepped on a hose. Cant imagine stepping on one in the dark.

This ^^^

Friend of mine parked his car for about 3 months under a tree at his house. Everything seemed normal until he tried to drive it. Ran like crap and he thought it was just bad gas. Long story short, squirrels had a nest in the airbox that nearly plugged the tube completely.

if your lucky, they just pack your airbox full of nuts. on a bad day, they chew thru your filter and pack that side full and you end up sucking a handful of pecans in the turbo. btw, turbos dont run well full of pecans.

Never thought of looking in the airbox. As many nuts as they put in the engine area I should probably check it.

I think I would rather face the mongoose than opening the hood after trying to start a truck with a cat laying behind the radiator by the fan... man that cat was mad...
