Don't use the front end loader, the tiller is much better. Especially if you just tilled up the rotted beets and cabbage.

It's usually not the issue of property vs personal injury. The sad truth is anybody can beat the case. Prints on the outside of a vehicle don't mean much, anybody could have touched it.

God bless Texas and your castle doctrine! It was explained to me that here, you basically have to sit there and watch people walk out of your house with your stuff, you draw a gun, and you get sued

Florida also has the castle doctrine. I don't know about Texas, but Floridas law are pretty descent on those terms. Here, I can fire my weapon, to protect your life as well as anybody else's, that may be in danger. It's been tested several times before, and passed each test successfully.

Just don't shoot anyone in the back as they carry stuff off ( that is what insurance is for).....you must feel that your or someone Else's life is in danger.......or so my CCP instructor thought us

We can shoot in broad daylight to protect our stuff. Sure, they'll be some kind of crap afterwords, but at least we can smile our way thru it.

I was taught that in TX you could only shoot someone advancing on you and threatening your or someone Else's life. If you shoot someone in the back, as they are making away with your stuff, I was taught you are SOL. I took my CCP class in TX and was issued a TX CCP. The laws may have changed since I received my permit. Would be fine by me.

My Texas friends tell me to observe the 3S system.
Shoot. Shovel. Shut up.

I have a very good video recording system set up for our house. I keep all of the inside recording part turned off when we are home. I figure if the bad guys get me, at least the LEO's will see the outside footage. If I get the bad guys, (much more likely) there wont be any footage to use against me.

If they're close enough to you, they were running towards the wife, so I had no choice. Or as our instructor said, just throw your wallet on the ground, out in front of you. When they turn around to pick it up, they started coming after you.
