a line in the add states
The motor was blown by one of there employees & not from a defect.
so, in other words some abuse was heaped on the truck that the bell housing just couldn't handle. something like takeing the truck up to the governor and side stepping (dumping) the clutch in 4 low...

While the truck was chained to the rail car it just got unloaded from. I like the "I started it and it blew up" This is why I dont let anyone touch my stuff. I still havnt gotton the recall for the throttle linkage done Maybe I can tell them to just give me the new goods and call it finished.

Here's a photo of what happens after repeatedly using the brake, clutch and throttle to bring up 15psi of boost at the drag strip. Say goodbye to all the clutch lining and say hello to cracks in the pressure plate. Hey, someone's gotta test these clutches!

I just rec'd an email from the seller. He hasn't personally been under it to verify the damage. It's a where is, as is salvage auto sale. He's taking someone else's word for the blown motor and rod. Notice there is no motor oil stains! The broken pressure plate and bell housing may be all that's broken. The persons who have been to look at it may be getting a good deal after all. Or he could have been baiting me.

I'm under the impression that the yard where it got abused has insurance and if the truck wasnt deemed "totaled" it would have been repaired by the insurance company. Or maybe not

Ok, how do you blow a motor without burning the sticker off the exhaust pipe? No way. There's more to it than what they are saying. Ebay is full of sharks
