I got:

Some $$$, which is always helpful.
A Lowe's gift card, which is always helpful if you have an old Airstream.
A microwave oven (who in my family knew mine was ailing? It's a mystery!)

A hug from my 93-year-old Grandmother who helped raise me when my Dad did two back-to-back tours in Viet Nam during the sixties. She also provided $20, and I'm a little ashamed that she gives money to me considering that I'm approaching the age of dirt, too, and make a decent living. I guess I'll always be her oldest Grandson.

Several smiles and some laughter from my Dad who has Alzheimers and two strokes who thought he was having an ADVENTURE! He even thought going down the steps in the wheelchair backwards at my Grandmother's house was fun.

And once again, seeing my oldest living relative talk to my youngest living relative. All four generations of us, all of us together at once.

It was a GOOD Christmas.

Hehehehehe..... my presents are probably still loaded in some Air Force C-130 and 1/2 way across the Atlantic. Holiday mail coming to an APO is quite possibly slower than molases in sub-freezing weather.

My German landlord brought over some cookies from his bakery and a couple little bottles of wine. Nice gesture ... wish I had got his family something .

But ... I did get to talk to the wife, all of my kids and my brother on the phone for quite a while. That was good enough for me !!!

Hooodie-hoooooo,

I got to enjoy my son, daughter, Wife, inlaws, Sister and her husband opening gifts all day. I got to open undershirts, a bird feeder and then at the end my wife hands me a box and inside is a certificate to get a second gen front and back seat for my truck. I can't wait to get it. (thanks wanna).

This was one of the best Christmas I've had. No one even argued!

I didn't get much, but this year my wife and I were able to provide Xmas for a single mother and her 4 young kids from the women's crisis center. If you ever get to a point in life where you are able to do something like this, I highly recommend it. It was without a doubt my best Christmas ever!

Well Christmas was pretty tough on me this year. My uncle passed away a week before Christmas and had to haul butt to Nebraska for the funeral and then haul butt back for Christmas. Then not being with my wife ( now ex ) for the first time in 7 years was pretty tough on me........I miss her so much!! And then not being able to wake up christmas morning and open presents with my son was extremely tough.

But on a positive note, Christmas was pretty good for the most part. My dad got my son a little 49cc 4wheeler to cruise around on, that was so dang cute!! Plus he got a bunch of toys and clothes so he had a really good Christmas.

As for me......
1. A 60 gallon stand up Craftsman air compressor from mom
2. A sweat shirt and long sleeved button up Carhart shirt
3. A bunch of candy and chocolate that I will NEVER eat
4. Some lucky brand cologne
5. A bluetooth headset for my phone........present from myself

2nd best present

An all expense paid trip to Mazatlan Mexico for two, 7 days 6 nights at a 5 star all inclusive resort. That was my present from my dad

Best present

Being able to spend time with my son and my family.

Hope you all had a good one!!

Got a mount for my cell phone for in the truck. I have GPS software on order for the phone so I need to be able to see the screen. I have a blue tooth GPS receiver that is smaller than my pager that sends the phone GPS data.
