Snoop Dog?

Has anyone seen the new commercial with Snoop Dog and Lee Iacoca? What the heck is DC thinking? What audience are they going after? I'l tell ya, I think it's poor taste to try and sell cars using tactics that can only be described as gang related!

They were thinking it might be time to unveil the Chrysler 300 Bling-Bling "Diddy" Edition.

i have often wondered about the marketing people at DC. in that department they get their butt handed to them by the other manufacturers.

Does it come with optional chrome plated "fo-nickels" and bullet proof glass?

I like Snoop Dogg but I can't stand those commericals. And they are playing them way too much.

But I also can't stand the one with his grandaughter either. Come to think of it... I don't like any of the ones with Iococa in it.

Maybe they'll get OJ and Robert Blake for a Mega Cab commercial.

He was charged as an accomplice to a murder. His genre (do you know what that is?) is "Gansta Rap". The title itself."Gansta Rap", lends itself to being gang related...does it not? (That's a rhetorical question. ) Gang...Gangsta, get it? Gang related. Do your homework before spouting off. LMAOAAI!

Buzz,
I just saw this commercial a few minutes ago and you took the words right out of my mouth:
What audience is DCX after?

I mean, if you are trying to sell rolling papers, Snoop Dog is your man, but I think it is a poor choice for a mainstream corporation like DCX to use him in their ads.

glad to hear it! my next truck's getting a dual disk.

snoop sold drugs when he was young, got busted, and focused on his music...

the "murder" that he was involved in was ruled as self defense

Snoop dog is his name?? What kind of mother names her kid that? To me he is a "shiftless", sneaky, no good, piece of worthless human debris not worthy of comment. Dress a pig up and you still have a well dressed pig. To put him in a commerical with Iacoca was misguilded advice by some Madison Ave. advertizing agency trying to appeal to what? You are appealing to people who aren't going to buy a new car for another 20 years, if ever. A huge mistake in my book.

Ford is looking better everyday, even Chevy!
