Snake Oil versus "Rattle" Snake Oil

Is it true that Snake Oil is for gassers, and "Rattle" Snake Oil is for diesel?

With the high price of fuel now, I want to make sure I put the right additive in my tank.

power clean is for diesels...i dont like snakes, so i dont touch them, not to mention i dont know how you would get their "oil" out of them
