That thing has potential. Think how far you could launch a frozen cantalope or a bowling ball. Wish I had one. I'd send my wife's cat for a ride.

 

It could probably launch an ATV pretty good if they didn't let go soon enough.


Any mechanical engineering majors want to estimate the g-forces involved by taking the integral of Hooke's law or something? It looks like pretty crazy acceleration...
