Who is next, Glock to fall on the 1911 bandwagon? :

Isn't the G-36 along these lines? Slim line single stack .45?

I see your angle, but the 36 was made to carry concealed as a back-up weapon. It is only 6 rounds + 1 in chamber. This was probably the result of demand from law enforcement personnel and agencies that have to carry .45 cal pistols in the line of duty- The Glock 36 uses the .45 and is able to be carried easily in ankle holsters.

S&W 1911, I don't leave home without it, and 2 extra full clips, now that it's getting cooler weather, I can go back to my shoulder holster, get it out of my back, be able to tuck my shirt in and not look too much like a slob, but that's hard to do in greasey work clothes.

Yessir...that would be a nice piece. Will wait and see if it performs as good as my 40 XD does though. I just ordered a brand new, New Rollmark Stainless Colt Commander 45. ;D

Just a FYI....looks like the Sig GSR 1911 is running around 850-900 bucks. Should give Kimber a little competiton in that end of the market for that price.

GLOCK is supposed to be releasing a full size single stack .45 in the near future, but it will look, shoot and function like a GLOCK...not another one of those worthless 1911 replicas. : :P The GLOCK 37 I believe???

As for me....I'll take my GLOCK 30 any day of the week. You can keep your ugly Sigs and HK's and your high dollar fancy nickle plated sissy guns. :P

I thought glocks were ugly, looks like your pointing a stapler. :

I'm sure everybody will try for the market since Colt went to law enforcement only.

My Sig is so ugly, I had to decorate it with Christmas lights... by Trijicon.
