Shotcrete or Gunite

I've read myself silly. Putting a pool in limestone/soil of Texas hill country...is the rock and where the water is added the only difference?

I think basically that is the difference between them.I have batched the ingredients into the mixers for both technologies over the years and I cannot remember which is which but it seems that one of them has to have water added at the batch plant to maintain a prescribed moisture content and the other is dry as it is loaded into the mixer.
In any case the recipe is provided by the customer and the only variable would be the amount of water added to the mix.
I have been away from it for over 20 years and things slip away.Ron G

Gunite is a dry process with the water added at the nozzle.

Essentially, the only difference is the time in the process where the water is added.
