Monday came on Tuesday this week.
Cool (not cold) temps out, n' breezy, temps might be reaching the low 50s.
Giving the gas meter a break. (thought I was going to have to pull out the Timing strobe light to be able to see the needles on the dial)

Sittin' at the office desk chillin'
Sippin coffee, eating pumpkin muffins, puttin' feet up to "assume the position" in preparation for a serious power-nap..
That's about as close to work as I hope to get today.

Hope y'all are going to have a sloooooow week too.
At least Friday is one day closer.

Y'all B safe
Ed

Morning DTRonians.
Back to some sort of normalcy here (what is the definition of normal )
Christmas Day was spent at Childrens Hospital getting the youngest g-kid sewed up. With a full load of Mountain Dew and Cheetos, she got her two main propulsion devices out of sync and did a quick maneuver into a rather large ceramic planter. 16 stiches later, kid is back at "all ahead flank" and mom, dad, mawmaw, and pawpaw have 27 more grey hairs each. Needless to say, I need to come back to work to rest.
I hope every one had a good Holiday, reguardless of which one you celebrate (trying to cover all potential political fallout).
Coffee pot has finished puking. Time for a cup of that wonderful Kona Coffee.
Later y'all.

Them young un's always pick the most opportune time to crash don't they ? Glad there wasn't any permanent damage (except for the planter) .

I'd give my left arm for a steamin hot cup of Kona !! Almost worth a special boondoggle to Hawaii to get it .

Uuugggghhhh ... just polished off some turkey sausages that probably should've been tossed out last week. Tummy is making exorcist sounds.

It sure is nice to go somewhere where it is just fine to say, "Merry Christmas" to all!
So to all those "Happy Holidays" people: Bah, humbug!

Mornin' all.
Sipping and flossin' with steel wool.
Trying to decide if I want cookies or ham for breakfast. Got the rest of the week off, wife went back today. Might clean out the garage, but I will probably just ride the couch today. Why do today what I can put off until tomorrow
Need to get busy installing the Viair air compressor I have had sitting around for 6 months or more.

ED: Glad you were able to find your way to work this morning with your new GPS

JKE, hope you are feeling better quick, I think you need a moonpie and an RC cola for breakfast.

SR: Glad the kiddo is OK. Probably hurt ya'll more than her.

Chris: That's what I was thinking, why is a Chief shoveling snow (they have been known to shovel "other" stuff). I would love to see a picture of a chief using a snow shovel.

Pickle: Cool avatar

Take it easy ya'll

Hehehehe ... we are just a slight bit top heavy here !! Too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. It was more of a novelty anyway ... I have it out of my system now and will be pulling rank and/or time in service from here on .

Go for the ham first .. then the cookies.

Drinkin' and watching CNN. I never watch CNN in the morning, there are some very nice looking news anchors on there (the female ones). Might have to start setting the TIVO

We need a moment of silence for the guy in the Dunkin' Donuts commercials who used to say "It's time to make the donuts", he passed away yesterday. (Ironically, it was from complications from diabetes).

Have a good one,
~Rob

Well Shovelhead...

I'm now understanding the meaning of the honey do list now...

Mine is starting to grow for the girlfriend. I've got to install her new MP3 player in her truck, change the oil, etc. This weekend...

As for me its mid-week I'm waiting on computer parts to show up and I'm stuck her at home with nothing going on for the morning. Oh well as soon as the sun comes up I know things can change quick around here..

Snow, snow and more snow. Guess what the 5-day forecast says .... .

Nothing new to report ... the frozen fish sticks that I ate for lunch are really not being nice to me right now. Just be thankful that you are all on the other side of the screen.
What I wouldn't give for a Blackened Dolphin Sandwich right now ..... Fiver, can ya hook a brother up ??

Chris, I know what ya mean about watching those videos ... some of them are just down right funny.

Have a great day ... bundle up and stay warm ( FB and Stan excluded)
