"Apparently Scott Brown drives a truck. Obama knows this too and gave him a hard time for driving a truck."

And I wonder how many folks he alienated with that statement? Probably only a few million.

He's only had a year, give him some more time and he'll learn there's lots of folks "who don't cotton to his way of thinking!"

You know, when I started this thread, it was more as a matter of general interest regarding the fact that someone like Scott Brown drives a truck like so many of us. Not only that, but now it appears that his truck is an older model with high mileage - just like the trucks of many DTR members.

What is surprising to me is the way this thread is starting to lean towards a bunch of you "terrorists" taking a whole lot of trucks to Washington to show support for Scott and the opposite of what Obama and his gang are attempting to force down your collective throats. Man, wouldn't that be something if this could come together and actually happen? Wonder if Fox or some other recognized media would start promoting this to bring truck enthusiasts from around America to join together for a massive drive in to Washington. That would be a very long drive for most guys, so how about a bunch of mini drives with truck owners from each state congregating around your their own state centers?
There, now tha ball is back in your courts. Wadda yuh say?

I'm thinking a DTR get together in celebration of the man who drives a truck, just like you guys.... Interesting thought.

I'm down with a drive to washington. I only see one thing we could improve on. We all need to pull trailers, to show that trucks run America!

I worked on a guy's semi the other day, said he was using his GPS around DC and it sent him downtown, right by the Washington monument. He was immediately pulled over. The cop told him he's lucky he didn't get surrounded by M-16's. He was then escorted out of town and back onto the interstate. They never once opened his trailer doors, or even asked him for his license.

A run to DC running diesels? Heck yeah count me in!

I needed another reason to visit the National Mall and see the World War II Memorial again.

Hey guys, I got an idea and boy does it hurt How about we hold our own "Special Election for Truck of the Month" and send a plaque to Scott Brown as next months winner?

Might be kinda cool having a DTR plaque hanging in the Senate Building and he has done more to publicize the love affair we Americans have with our trucks than anyone else

You guys down for it? I thought of this because the plaques are supposed to arrive tomorrow so I can star shipping them out again.
