Chris Kyle was a great guy, Navy SEAL, sniper, in the history books for it too. I first started seeing his interviews on Fox a year or two ago. He did do a couple shows, Stars Earn Stripes this summer/fall was the one where I saw him and really got to see the kinda guy he was. He was a good Texas boy, all American kinda guy. Humble, capable. Worked with vets, to help those behind him. Ran a company called Craft Industries, security & training I think. He penned a book "America Sniper", which is on my 'go get now' list. I think I could say I was a even a little sweet on him.

Every time I saw him on tv I wanted to meet him. He seemed like the kinda guy I could meet. I won't get that chance and I regret that. Can't imagine being someone who knew him like his family and friends. Can't imagine what they are going through.

I think he was a hero, an example, a strong example, a fine example.

This loss bugs me. Not how, not why (least right now), but just that he is gone.

This is tragic. All the more reason to become energy independent here and let these middle eastern nations rot in their religious excesses.
We and our allies have knocked ourselves out trying to help them, with limited success.

My positive thoughts go out to the family.
Something happened to the perp over there...
