RIP Capt. Dan Bartle

Sadly we are burying a local kid this Sunday who died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan last week.

Marine Captain Dan Bartle, Ferndale Washington.

Rest in Peace, son.

Far too many good guys lost trying to take care of people who don't seem to give a rats rear about us.
God bless our guys and gals in uniform.
It hurts everytime we lose one.

One of the Marines that died in the crash is from my old home town of Willis, Cpl. Joseph Logan. Semper Fi.

I wish we could have a section of the names of all those lost in this mess.

The local law enforcement, Veterans and bikers did a nice procession for him today. Many turned out to line the streets, made me feel better about where I live.
