Repair Rubber Boots

One of my nice new rubber over-boots has somehow gotten snagged, resulting in a neat slit of an inch long.

I know, from numerous attempts in the past, that it is a waste of time to try to patch them with normal inner-tube/tire patching, as it will just roll off and not stick.

What, and where can get, will repair small holes in rubber boots??

Thankfully, the slit is in the top part of the foot, instead of in the bottom; I can still wear them with dry feet, so long as it isn't over a couple inches deep.

Thanks.

GOOP. Most sporting good stores have some to patch waders. it's clear and stays flexible.

I squirted on a generous application of SHOE GOO, probably about the same stuff as GOOP.

It has been a few days, now, and all looks good.

Thanks.
