Quote in sig about stupidity-Intelligence

OK, guys. This thread can qualify for the most off-the-wall question of the year, but this is bugging me.

There is a member here that has a quote in his sig that has to do with Intelligence being limited, but stupidity having no such limitations. I have done a search and looked at hundreds of posts, but I can't find a post by that member. My daughter collects interesting quotes, and I wanted to pass this one on to her, but, of course I didn't write it down when I had the chance. Any body know who it is?

I think it was Spots. I've seen it alot, too, and I spend most of my time on the 3rd gen forums. I just checked several threads, and Spots was the only poster with a quote in his sig.

If your daughter hasn't checked http://www.bartleby.com/100/ out, it's a pretty neat site, with a search engine.

Thanks for the responses, guys. You know how it is when you can't think of something, and it's right on the edge of your brain but won't come to you.

A quote like "Ignorance can be cured but stupid is forever."
"Uglier than a mud fence."
"Dumber than a hog."
"More messed (insert words of choice) up than a football bat."

Ain't got my yet, mind's not working right.

Could it be the one that Stamey has?

It might have been in Hoss's or someone like that. I remember seeing it.

I like the one from Oh Brother Where Art Thou: "You guys are just dumber than a bag of hammers".
