Question on Powerstrokes

I know, I know, this is a DC site but I wanted to ask these quesitons here anyhooo... Yesterday on the way to pick up my son for Scouts as I was going up the I-15 I came upon a F-250. Did like I usually do when passing another truck, checked it out. Didn't notice any Powerstroke decals on the door but saw the one on the front of the fender. Figured it was a Triton. When I passed I looked and saw that it said Powerstroke V-8. I've never noticed these badges before. Not sure of the year but don't think it was a 6.ohno. Has anyone ever seen these? And another one that I saw was a F-250 PS with the Harley package on it. Under the F-250 HD badge there was script lettering that said 'Supercharged'. I know the gasser HD versions are SC'ed. Who they trying to fool? Truck was still runnin' in front of Vons with what looked like a 12-13 year old girl in the back seat. Tried to catch the guy coming out of the store to ask about the 'supercharged' graphic to see what he had to say about it. Could have been good for a laugh.

The older PSD's had them on the front fender. I believe they started putting them on the door in either 1999 or 2000. It was the 7.3L.

Don't know about the supercharged thing.

The first 99's had them up front...99.5's were on the door. I think there were "slight" engine changes to go along with them...something like a the early one had the 94-99 turbo, 99.5-up had a different one.

Something along those lines at least...

Early model 99 had the badge on the fender. 99.5 and up have the badges on the doors. Differences are the wheel in the turbo on the early ones 94 to 99 have what they call the "wicked wheel". Air box is different and some slight differences in front suspension, front hubs and front brakes. I used to have an early model 99 and getting the right parts is a nightmare. I know cause i had to buy lots of parts. Thats why I'm a proud cummins owner now
