PHOO HOUSE Coffee shop and gab shack April 7 - 13
Evening folks.. hope all is well and everyone is doing fine..
Finally getting some springtime weather here, 70's today, chance of severe storms with high winds hail, and the remote possibilty of a 'nado or two...YEA!!!

Cougar, I got cold just looking at those pics, tho the moose grazing on the tree was cool..Im too thin blooded for that kinda place tho..
Heidi, had pancakes for dinner, topped with your syrup, YUMMY!!!! that stuff is GOOD! ( yes THE BOSS shared since I bought her a diamond bracelet last night)
Attended a fundraiser last night for the family's of two officers killed in the line of duty last December, both shot in the head during a suspicious vehicle stop. Funds are to send the family's to the National LEO Memorial Service in D.C. next month.. silent auction and all-you-can-eat spaghetti.. after eating as much as I did, kinda felt I had to buy something..
lost out on a Springfield Arms 45., got outbid by $5
, but picked up a years membership to a local range cheap and a few other toys..
It was really touching to see the community turn-out and support given to these to family's. Got to visit with a lot of old buddies I used to work with and hadnt seen in awhile, a nice evening..
Well, Im off to see whats happening on the great world wide web...
BE SAFE!!

Ended up staying in Saturday night. Went to an Indianola bar Friday night and Sunday afternoon, not a bad place, food is good.
Lightning just got here. Got .20 yesterday morning, maybe we'll get another inch in the next couple days.
Looking online at Camaro's. A couple friends have one, and they have them built, going to have to get myself one.
Back was a pinched nerve or something. Started bugging me early, used the side of the pick-up to snap my back a few times, and it went away.
It's headed to Denver.

If the 2nd amendment guarantees our right to bear arms, why do we still need a license?

Really don't want either but I'll take the wind if I had to pick one.....I already have all the hell I can handle.
Better try and get a couple hours sleep before class.....gonna be super tired at work tonight if I can't get any more than 4 hours.

Saw this today on one of those "Motivational" posters picturing someone exiting a damaged aircraft.
"If you hear me say eject, eject, eject, the last two will be an echo, because you'll be the only one still in the plane."
Attributed to a pilot giving a pre-flight briefing to a "ride-a-long".
Another pictured a mighty Navy warship with the caption:
ANY ship can be a Minesweeper............ONCE.

8 year auto loans? Are people really this dumb?
I guess I should know that answer, I mean, someone did come up with the "interest-only" mortgage.
I guess I should know that answer, I mean, someone did come up with the "interest-only" mortgage.
As long as people are dumb enough to willingly spend 50 or 60 grand for a pickup truck, I guess they'll be equally dumb, (I believe the bank calls them 'qualified'), to take the 8 year loan.
