Phone cards

Gentlemen, I have seen some discussion on phone cards here before but my search did not yeild any results, here is what I'm looking for.

One of the guys on the job with me, (on the same group and piece as me), his son deployed to Iraq a month ago, he is in the 501st AIR so he is knocking down doors on a daily basis. The one thing my buddy wants is phone cards for his son, so with that info I took it upon myself to take a collection from mostly everyone on the department and wound up collecting about $2,200 bucks. Where is the best place to get phone cards for the troops, and will they let me purchase seperate cards? I really don't want to put the whole amount on one single phone card unless that would be adventageous to him. Any help or direction would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you, stay safe, Tim

Best bet is to get any card that will run off at&t. get cards in the 500 unit amounts so he looses one its all not lost. There is a number he can use on the dsn lines that gives a stateside at&t dial out so he wont get robbed by the calling centers. (PM ME IF YOU NEED IT). My mom usualy gets the cards at costco or wally world for me.

i really couldn't comment her other than if you out it on one card, what if he lost it ?? or some one helped themself to it?? i think mulitple cards would be a better idea. ( or you could just download limewire and get cracked card codes for free )

The AT&T cards that Sam's Club/Walmart sells are 3 cents a minute inside the USA. Don't know about overseas calls.
