I have no idea. It was in an ad I got from Norther Tools.

There has to be more to it the just plugging into the 12v power source.

thats what i was thinking, would be pretty cool to have if i new it worked, its not like i dont have enough stuff mounted in my truck any way

I've heard mixed reviews about them. Apparently there isn't any more to it than just a 12V plug. It uses internal mechanisms to measure g-forces, not sure where the rest of the info comes from.

Not near as convient, but a laptop based program would be cheaper.
