I've bought allot online, no problems. Look for the secure site signs. And if your really worried about your credit card, use a low limit one. I have been told about a virtual credit card, but don't know much about them yet.

Nice TT

I buy most of my stuff online now. Much easier to shop for a better price and don't have pay state sales tax if ordering out of state. Just watch out for the shipping charges though.

Also before giving them info of any kind make sure you can find their physical address. not a p.o. box but a real address. I've never had any problems but if they have a phone # listed I call and talk to a human

Good luck,
Michael

Start you a extra account with a credit card off of it alone and use it only for online dealings, that will keep them from direct access from your checking or savings, preferably at a different bank that you use now for your family banking. Goodluck,,Rick

MOST of ANYTHING, auto related or not I have bought has been on-line. You'll get used to it.
99.7% of the online vendors are there to make you happy and satisfy you so you'll tell your friends and family.

I get a lot of stuff on e-bay now. I just look for a really good rating for the seller.

Bought my 1st Gen on Ebay, and the BOSS buys alot of stuff online.
What the others have said about checking the bussiness and being ona secure site is important. PAYPAL is becoming the " online bank" nad is a safe way to pay for about anything.

Only problem I have with Paypal is that they want you to become a verified member and that requires your personal banking information. I will not do it. So when I maxed out my Paypal account I just look for vendors that will accept Visa.
