Wink GOOD TO HEAR FROM YA, DINNER man that was just fun to say!!

Good to hear from all Canadians today,Buffalo Sabres beat the Rangers in hockey and now on to Ottawa...

Missing my friend CHAIKWA, who was pounding REDLEG's bumper last I called...I really hope they were speaking of trucks and heavy steel (only way Scott knows how to build).....few months ago, Scott sold his beloved MUTT vehicle which he made from scratch-got a pretty penny for it on EBay....
come to find out- it was so heavily built (think bomb proof with cup holders)
that price was actually the scrap price....

bright sunny day here! wind made it about 19 degrees in the sun. stayed in to rest up for physical therapy tomorrow at 8am. didn't even look at the harley...

crusing the leftovers from CIN- Thanks Gal!! DTR 's caterer
Let's raise a brownie to MADHAT and send him some energy!
Hope GEICO got things moving with his duct taped plane!!
can't be a sensitive caveman with that bunch of yokels...

Evening all. I go out of town one day and boy do you guys get rowdy. I looked over in the last thread and found "Janatrines" and "Marinators" going at it. I guess I just can't leave town anymore.

Morning, DTR!!! I see someone has been mixing words up with out a licence to do such a thing... I see some jail time in the future...

Lights and coffee's on. Got a call from my third hat this morning at 0200, some recruit (that I had dropped a week and a half ago) parents's called looking for him. Remind me to slap him later...

Off to the grind stone...

Why would you drop a recruit? Aren't they quitting fast enough on their own for you?

Morning, waiting on my breakfast burrito to cool off, about to go to my first day of work.
The new pot tastes palpable, what's wrong with it?

What a rotten thing to say! It ain't no more 'palpable' than it ever is! I'm insulted! I'm hurt! (anyone know what 'palpable' means?)

Oh yeah, good luck on your first day of work!

No, you were right;
pal·pa·ble - Pronunciation Key - [pal-puh-buhl] – adjective
1. readily or plainly seen, perceived, etc.; obvious; evident.
2. capable of being touched or felt; tangible.

So the coffee is, 1) readily and plainly seen, obvious that it is good, evident that all is normal. And 2) capable of being touched and felt.

Good Morning..........
Scott, coffee is a littel weak this morning, get some of the flood water in it????

Still here, close, but havent washed away yet...
Pond has a spillway I was unaware of........... went out at 0400 this morning and stepped on a grass carp swimming upstream through the brome grass!!( seriously, I DID!!)......the little fishing dock that was tottally high and dry at this time yesterday is now about 3 foot under water..........

most of the local rivers are out of their banks, radio just said we got 2.65 inches since midnight, for a grand total of 17 inches since Friday morning.

Crawlspace has gotten water into it adn the house now smells like a musty sweater.. the BOSS is unhappy....

We havent had weather like this since 1993, the last "great flood"......

Oh well, keeps life interesting~

still soggy and looking for my Sterns Vest................CD

Morning, just killed it off and got another pot started. Fritter has been "handled". Had success distracting the janitor for you guys yesterday, hope everybody was able to relax. Gave jake a good workout too, and he returned the favor to overweight Kaley. We were worrying about ya Chris, glad your still dry. I think Chaikwa was worried about one of them tornadoes breaking trail and heading our way. He added all this weight to the blazer so it wouldn't blow away. A little soft up front, like your fathers oldsmobile. I think I'll tweak the torsion bars a little. That bumper looks sweet though. Can't wait til we get it done. Thanks again Scott.

I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. I'm betting he really was thinking palatable, although I never thought I'd ever hear it used to describe the janitors brew.

Main Entry: pal·at·able
Pronunciation: 'pa-l&-t&-b&l
Function: adjective
1 : agreeable to the palate or taste
2 : agreeable or acceptable to the mind
- pal·at·abil·i·ty /"pa-l&-t&-'bi-l&-tE/ noun
- pal·at·able·ness noun
- pal·at·ably /'pa-l&-t&-blE/ adverb
synonyms PALATABLE, APPETIZING, SAVORY, TASTY, TOOTHSOME mean agreeable or pleasant especially to the sense of taste. PALATABLE often applies to something that is found to be merely agreeable <butterflies that birds find palatable>. APPETIZING suggests a whetting of the appetite and applies to aroma and appearance as well as taste
