Except that he is a person who I do respect tremendeously, and who I do wish a lot of luck.

His has always been a hard life. Born in the worst parts of town, having ill luck and bad friends growing up- he managed to become one of the worlds strongest men- and also managed to train the Canadian strong men- showing that he does not only have brawn, but also brain. (lots of both)

Then he "managed" to get (make) one hell of a daughter- as seen in her exploits in basketball- even more noticeable for the fact that her efforts in basketball start out by being genetically a square or low cylinder of shape.. Scotty

And I have a lot of confidence in him being able to overcome his problems. I think that if he needs help it will be in two different places- practical and moral.

Personally I can not offer meaningful help in the realm of practical- meaning I am no Dr., and I didn't even stay in a holiday inn for decades.

Morals- I keep my thumbs pressed, and there isn't much more that I can do.

I must admit that I am a whiner starting the threads about my mother and my brother... compared to Scotty who is really fighting.

So, I'll end with my wishing luck, power and health to Scotty, and a profound feeling of sadness that I can not offer more to a person that I consider valuable.

Maddi finished Day 2 of 3 at an intense basketball camp that she says is the best one she has attended to date.

Do you remember how some of the guys were having a smoke and a beer between events at the competition in Immenstadt? lolol. It was different but I was told it’s how they relax. The boys from Belarus said the German milk was like water and I thought it was thick! When they came to Canada and had skim milk we all laughed how we pay for white water.
