Thanks dudes for hearing and answering my questions. It's good to know that I'm not the only person up at 2am thats interested in the Dodge Diesel. I wil probley be needing help in the future figureing out about the warrenty issues with my new 3500 and what I can and can't do to the truck ( engine) that will void it.
Re:Noobie says thanks
I am sorry to burst your bubble bro. If'n you want to keep your warranty only pop the hood to check fluids. Other than that Keep it shut. It all depends on what dealer you take it to as to what you can get away with. Some wont mind an AFE and an exhaust. Some dont mind the afe, exhaust, and EZ. Others look at an after market exhaust and the AFE and are darned jumpy on the VOID button. If you want to play you gotta pay.

Technically, a dealer can't void your warranty unless they can prove that the modification contributed to the part failure. However, they can make it messy and expensive for you if they want to push it, and many do. My dealer wouldn't replace a burned out headlight switch under warranty because of aux. fog lights I have. And I can't say that I blame them. They have done several other, bigger things without any question. But then I think I have one of the better ones. When you start making performance mods, you become your own warranty station.
