Nice Bush cartoon

Saw this cartoon and really loved it

Don't want to start a war, and no disrespect for the President of the USA. The text says that George W Bush has found a new field of activity.

I sure am glad he is smart enough to understand the benefits we will see from his new program. It is the technology that comes from programs like this, that keeps the USA the leader in technological advances.

The overall benefits to mankind from this type of program is astounding, the improvements in Medical technology alone is worth the price. People all over the world will reap the benefits that OUR tax dollars develop.

Thanks G. W. The world will be a better place thanks to your initiatives

I think the humor must be in the goofy socks, tie and hat. Of course, no self-respecting Texan would ever be caught dead looking so foolish.

Bush for President!! Again!!

I think a bit of the humor can be attributed to the fact that the Iraq stuff has landed in the dustbin.

It has? Then why did over 50% of the recent State of the Union address cover Iraq? More importantly, it not only covered Iraq, but terrorism in general. I would regard that as anything but the dustbin.

And, whether they find WMD's or not, the idiot was trying for them and thumbing his nose at the UN and the rest of the world. We are safer and better off without idiots like that around - - yep, even in the Alps, friend. Like him or not, Bush spearheaded an effort and we Americans are paying for it that has rid the world of a menace. I truly believe the doubters in the foreign countries will wake up when some zealot blows up a bus in their home town. At least Lybia got the message.

God bless Bush and God bless the USA and protect our soldiers while they finish what they started. AMEN AMEN AMEN

Frankly, I have completely missed the "alleged" humor in the cartoon. And as for the Iraq war and yet to be discovered WMD's; Chew on this scenario awhile; Lets say you have a major drug dealer and murderer in your neighborhood. You call the police and report this fact. The police check it out, and sure enough, it appears like you are right. But, the police need proof of the drugs to make the arrest. So, the police go to the judge to request a search warrant, so they can bust down this dirtbags door, seize the drugs, arrest him and take him to trial. But, when they see the judge(read, The U.N.), he/she says," well, lets just issue him a verbal warning for now", and if he continues the appearance of dealing, then I will issue the search warrant"

Now, for the first question, are you happy with this answer? If you answered "yes", then you deserve a drug dealer for a neighbor! But for giggles, lets say you accept the "wait and see" position. A few years pass by, and nearly every day you are calling the police to report that it looks like the guy is still dealing drugs and killing people. And every day the police say, "geez, he isn't suppose to do that, the judge said so!" Finally, after your 1,000th call to the police, they once again approach the same judge for the warrant. The judge reviews the additional information, which now includes other witness statements, other than yours, and says," I dunno, I think I should ask the other judges." The other judges hear the allegations, some of them say, "whats the problem?" this guy needs to be taken out! But then other, bigger name judges (read France, Germany,Russia), say, "I think we should warn him again"." And then if he ignores that warning, well...., then we can do something, by golly gee"! The police decide that this is not an acceptable situaiton, so they take another look at the evidence and decide that they have enough to boot the door without a warrant. But, just to make sure that they apper fair to the murdering drug dealer, and to appease the "judges", they call the dealer several weeks in advance to tell him what they are going to do! And, to give him one more chance to change his evil ways. So, search day finally comes and the police kick the door. A firefight ensues, police officers die, bad guys die and the suspect and the drugs are no where to be found. Are you suprised????? Well guess what? The murdering dealer wasn't! WAKE up all you Bush bashers. I don't care if you like the President or not, the bottom line is, that a murdering menace to our world is now out of power and no longer a threat! And the other "homies" in the "hood" are very nervous about being next! Whether its local or global, bad guys are all the same. And if we are not willing to take them on in our neighborhood and our world, then we are destined to become victims. And I for one, have no intention of letting that happen in my "hood"!......So, deal with it!..... Now,...enough of this...... lets talk DIESEL!!!!
