So I bought a china brand quad (Hi-Bird 250) for hunting this past year. I also use the quad for running around dirt trails etc. when the jeep doesnt go. It's a 2wheel drive so it might be a little interesting plowing, but it's really been a great quad!

Then yesterday I bought a craftsman plow and mounted it to the front....now I have a great snow plow for doing our drive and walks.

That's a good name for a China brand . Go to the dealer and they give you the bird .

 

Throw a little weight on the rear , with some tire chains , and I think you will be surprized what it will push.

Second, I have chains and am going to be putting some weight on the back for some extra traction...(my whole 140lbs won't do much!!!)

The best part about this quad is it has been worth every penny so far. I took it hunting with my buddy and his dad, both on 4x4 polaris 500's and went everywhere they did. Mud, snow, dirt, big gaps, rutts... you name it. I had to hit things a little harder and I don't have the racks or carrying capacity, but for 900, this quad rules! I grew up riding Honda Ex's etc., so I'm used to these 2wd versions.

When the Chinese quad breaks and the parts are hard to find or too expensive, try a Kawasaki.
