I've never met anything a Super Redhawk couldn't handle. ;D

At the end of the linked article.

"In 2001, the ailing gunmaker was sold by its British owner to an Arizona
startup company that all but abandoned the agreement with the
government and adopted an aggressive and unapologetic marketing
stance. "

Way to go S&W!!!

Re:New S&W .50 cal.

The last handgun I purchased was just before the Brady bill went into effect, and was a Desert Eagle .50 AE, which I have enjoyed ever since. I hunt deer and hogs with it, and it has all the power I need. I'm glad to see that S&W is no longer owned by the British or any other foreign entity, and has corrected its corporate policy to be in line with the Constitution. Way to go S&W.

Sure looks like fun. But my motto is "If a .44 mag can't take care of it, you have no business using a pistol."

I do own a .454 but am much more accurate with the .44 mag.

Wes

I like my .50AE Encore it has a lot more recoil then a Desert Eagle.Next perchuse is a BFR in 45-70 or 444marlin.One of the guns I carry in the truck is a .308 Win. in a pistol config.Sounds like a barrel in the caliber I would like .50 Mag ;D My every day gun is a 1911 A2. Ps try shooting a .50AE with 1 hand 8) ;D
