I completely agree with this. I can't stand MySpace. Everyone I know seems to have a page there, but I'm not interested it letting everyone know about me.

You'd be much better off with something geared for your purpose rather than something that is geared for highschool/college kids sharing their drinking pictures and airing out their dirty laundry. Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox.

I would also check with your internet provider. I have *** and they give 100mges of space per account. Most braodband providers do the same.

www.photobucket.com is a free photohosting site that you can set so only your family can view if you gie them the login in info.

The thing about myspace is that it is redicuolously easy- I am horrible with computer but yet I was able to come up with this

It has already been stated earlier in this thread that links to myspace are not permitted.

But that's just it...........you don't have to let everyone know about you!!! It is up to whether you want strangers to view your page or not. If you don't, then all you have to do is change it in your settings and the only people that can view your page is the people on your friends list.

I'm not familiar with some of the photo places you guys have listed, but the idea with Myspace is that you can communicate with your friends on it as well as share pictures. I'm assuming that those other photo places are pictures only.

Myspace is so flippin easy to use, a stinkin monkey could figure it out.

Myspace.

If youre on myspace you really fall into one of these categories:

A) Looking for sex.
B) Emo.
C) Underage girls showing off how cool you are.
D) Employer looking at the profile of a potential interviewee.

Im on there for D!! We've passed on many applicants due to the content on their myspace page. You really dont want to post how your late night binge drinking makes it hard to get out of bed in the morning.. geesh.

For those that say they are on myspace for friends and family.. Do you not know their telephone number? Their address?

No, I don't. I've only been on a few times to see what some of my friends from school are up to. It was cool getting caught up with guys I haven't seen in 5 years.

I am 17 and have one,I am neither of those on that list. I use it because since I moved to Me it is easier to keep in touch iwth my friends from PA.

Yes I know there number and stuff, but when I can call them they are not home or when I am online they are not online to send instant messages back and forth,So I use myspace to send them messages so my email does not get cluttered.

Ill continue to take my stance on this.. If they are important enough to talk to again, you wouldn't have lost communication with them in the first place.

People either love myspace or hate it. I really like it. I can talk to people on there that I know well, but dont get to see much. It wouldnt bother me if an employer wanted to see it either. I dont have anything bad on mine. Some people are just really against it, but have no real reason. You dont have to have one if you dont want, but dont act like everyone on there are a bunch of low life losers either.

I think you need an acct on myspace, to view content on myspace. I was going to keep mine while I came to Afghanistan, so I could post pics and stuff for friends and fam to look, but figured they wouldn't want to set up an acct. So I just deleted it.
There are definitely alot of girls on there looking for sex. Lol
