Dont worry about it...they have to say something to make themselves feel better. They cant say they have the best diesel motor.

Nine thousand pounds is possible, especially if he knows Hoss.

After about 20 mins of google searching I found this on the "Blue Oval Forum"

Dry Shipping Weight on the '08 F350 SRW Long Bed 6.4L is 7185.

they are just using the excuse that "it weights 9k" when you beat them. they don't have the power, takes longer to get 8 moving, less torque etc. so it is an excuse that they can't stand behind as stated above with a dry weight of 7185

Probably the gross rating with load. My 06 QC short bed is 9000 gross but weight on reg says truck is 5100 pounds. I doub't very much a ford is 4000 pounds more than dodge.

Yeah I shut him up by sending him the ford stats on his truck and he didn't reply back on that, well this all started about him buying a lift for his garage and a 7,000 lb lift came up for sale $950.00 I told him to buy it and he said it wouldn't lift his truck c'mon man ***. My uncle has a 7000lb lift and it lifts my truck like nothing.
