You're supposed to slow down to a crawl, let them pass you, then put your brights on them, riding their bumper.

That will teach them....

There used to be several quick change ticket generator lights on 65. I romped on the brakes of my Astro van, which had unbelievable ABS brakes, and the broad in the jeep riding my tail managed to get around me, but spun out in the intersection. Saw the cop turn on his lights. Serves her right. Glad nobody was in the way.

On the dash cam, there's gonna be on in my dually before I hit the road this summer.

I think people see an older vehicle and think "slow!" and ride bumpers, not paying any attention to their own speedometer. I like to leave people in a cloud of smoke with the Cummins who do that. Give them three miles and they'll be right there again though.

There was a white square-body Frod pick-up that was constantly on my tail when I lived in town. SOB wouldn't pass, wouldn't back off, blew his horn when I slid past the convenience store one icy morning. If I had means to get another vehicle (and didn't like having this old diesel) I would have just stood on the pedal one morning.

15 mph on the shoulder with the flashers going and no oncoming and he wouldn't pass.

The ones I really liked were the ones taking their kids out to the rest area to meet the bus to take them to school in the next town. They'd do 50 in the 35 to pass everyone, then do 45 in the 65.
