Movie making help!
I just bought a new Toshiba laptop. It has the new Windows Vista on it. Nice operating system. It has Windows Movie Maker on it, and I have been trying to use it to put titles, credits, etc onto some videos I have edited. Problem is that after I "publish" them for viewing and go to upload them to a place like dieselmovies.com or youtube it keeps telling me the file is not valid. After I edit them with the software that came with my digital cam they are saved as .MPG files, but after publishing throw WMM they get save as .MSWMM files. How can I get them back to MPG or any other proper format that is supported by most video websites?
when you are done with the movie, click save movie as. there will be choices to save them.
save them for internet viewing or something like that. if you go to putfile, there is a tutorial for making movies and saving them for net use. that is what i use. cant check here, work computers dont have the software. sorry

Well I think I have already tried that and it still is not doing what I want it to do. I'll go back and double check. I might have to get a Vista for Dummies book lol...or a WMM for dummies
I accept food for payment.
