Moto Razr2 V9?

Anyone have it? Is it a good phone? Ive got the KRZR right now and REALLY like it...its the best phone Ive had so far (of about 6 or 8). But I like how on the new Razr2 you can use the internet for any html site, which would be handy since I dont have internet at my house.

My wife has one. I like it, she's Ok with it. She doesn't use all the features of it. The 7 & 9 keys were intermittent on early models (maybe still?). We bought hers at an AT&T store before they put it out on the shelf. Paid about $300 for it. Took it back and they replaced it a week later because of the intermittent keys. Pricey in my opinion, for the "cool" factor it has. I use a Blackjack (smartphone) and couldn't talk her into one (she didn't want "all that stuff"). To get the "discount" price of $300, she had to get the $20 monthly data plan. A smartphone has many more uses than the Razr2 V9. It syncs easily with Outlook, you can run different programs on it (like GPS stuff), it has Windows Media player built in, Mobile internet explorer etc. etc. etc. I would suggest looking at a smartphone too. That being said, if I didn't need a smartphone, I would probably have a V2 in my pocket.
It has excellent sound quality, will play music, uses micro sd storage and the 2M camera takes excellent pictures.

Agreed.
There are some cool java apps out there (google earth, gmail) that are a pain to use on the V2 because everytime they go to access the internet, the phone asks you if it is "OK" to access the web. The option is not there to say "Yes, allow all the time". You only have the option to say "Yes, this time" or "Never". That is not Motorola's fault, but AT&T's. They have it locked. I hate phone companies.

I didn't think much of the locked phones until I got to use some outside the US.
1. My razr V3xx doesn't work 1/2 the time outside the US
2. 1/2 of the applications are missing.
3. I really dont like the cingular/at&t logo all over my phone.

I have a cheap nokia that is unlocked. the only place it doesn't work is in the US and Japan.
