Dang, as soon as I read that article, I called my manager, since I work in the produce department of a supermarket here in town, and told him to be looking for an e-mail with directions to get rid of the spinach.

I havent ate spinach scince I was forced to as a kid, so one would think I was safe. But my wife had spinich salad for lunch, and when I got home she gave me a big smooch. Then proceeded to tell me about what she had for lunch and then hearing the story on the radio I guess paybacks hell

This is the prime reason I buy all of my produce fresh. I have never bought any bagged produce like that before and never plan too. All about convienance these days.

Geez, we had to throw ALL the fresh spinach in our store the morning after this, including spinach dip, to a total of $900 and some odd dollars
